Job Description
A Travel Nurse Recruiter specializes in sourcing, screening, and placing travel nurses in temporary assignments across various healthcare facilities. This role involves building strong relationships with travel nurses and ensuring they find suitable assignments that match their skills and preferences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Acquisition: Source and recruit qualified travel nurses through job boards, social media, and professional networks.
- Candidate Screening: Conduct initial phone screenings, assess qualifications, and ensure candidates meet the requirements for travel nurse assignments.
- Assignment Matching: Match travel nurses with assignments that align with their skills, experience, and preferences.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contract terms, including pay rates, housing arrangements, and other benefits.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with travel nurses, providing ongoing support throughout their assignments.
- Compliance: Ensure all travel nurses meet licensing, certification, and regulatory requirements for the states they will be working in.
- Onboarding: Coordinate the onboarding process, including orientation and training for new travel nurses.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Nursing, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience, preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS).
