Job Description
A Medical Staffing Coordinator is responsible for managing the staffing needs of healthcare facilities by scheduling and coordinating shifts for medical professionals. This role involves ensuring that the right staff are in place to provide quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Staff Scheduling: Develop and maintain staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts.
- Coordination: Coordinate with healthcare professionals to fill open shifts and manage shift changes.
- Communication: Communicate with staff regarding scheduling updates, shift availability, and other staffing-related information.
- Database Management: Maintain accurate records of staff availability, certifications, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any staffing issues or conflicts that arise.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration or related field preferred.
